The Tier is a rating of your bands turn out, this system is common in the music industry but we have added a few fair upgrades.
Local Bands: We classify you under a rated system that tells us what type of band you are and what your bands crowd draw is . (Tier 1 Bands) are the new bands or bands that have yet to gain fans in the area note: Most out of town bands fall under this class: if you are touring and can not attract 15-20 we fill that it is not fair to the other local bands to place you on a list although we would like to support you in your efforts please respect ours. (Tier 2 Bands) are most Commonly known as underlining bands or support bands these bands have a fan base of 10-20 (Tier 3 Bands) are headline bands these Bands are Local and touring Bands that will bring 20+ people
Audition bands: if you play your first show at coffee'ez as an Audition this is to get you in the door and see what type of band you are: One we test your marketability we then place you in a line up show in the future.
We have a few requirements for shows at Coffeez: Not limited too
1. any out side act must be able to bring or attract 40 people , or an unless we can place them with an local band or act that can produce 40+ in our area (that is about 3-4 bands). 2. We work on tier system, with a door check (for every 1 person that shows up to see a band they get that % of the door if you have 0 that is 0% and if a % of the door comes to see "other" you split that with the house) 3.we require 2 weeks of advertising in advance at the minimum and a walk through on the same day or the event " meaning that the band or someone from the band must go around in "our" local area and promote their show "sell tickets" and become personal with the students at Carson Newman and high school students or target audience . 4. We ask that you bring 15 people to your show : using pre-invites, pre-sales tickets, word of mouth or any other method that will attract the minimum fans to your show !
1.Be professional at all times 2.support us like we support you 3.promote your show so it will have success 4.play like it is your last time 5.understand that this is an business and if you heart is not in it don't bother us we have better shit to do..... 6.2 weeks before any show you must advertise. 7.understand the tier system your money depends on it. 8.do your part don't leave our place a mess. 9.audition times : email kyle Adkins adekyn@msn.com 10.within 2 weeks before your show you must come into Jefferson city and let the town know you 11.are here and where you are playing ! so you will gain fans ! 12. respect the monkey god
